@TonyHawkar You are making the right choice by doing so :) Make sure though you get the usb version as if you have a sound card for your PC speakers then you will have to unplug them in order to use the headset. The 5.1 is amazing and all the sound is so clear it blew me away!!

@Darktemplar1305 I found out that when the volume is set on 50 the left side would be on 48 :/ sorted my problem out easily :)

Guys get the USB version as they do the exact same job and you dont have to worry about using up a sound card if you have PC speakers connected :D If you are looking for a headset, then these bad boys will blow you away!! You won't regret it.

oh my god did the same upgrade that u did from creative fatality to medusa 5.1 usb u have the same problem that front speakers aren't balanced had to turn up left to +12dB while right is still at+0dB to balance the loudness -.-

I'm using the Stero version right know and think about upgrading to this one. Would you recommend it ?

Hey let me ask you something. I bought this headset but i don't know what is the button where microphone is drawed... You said something like "Microphone swich" or something like that...Can you tell me what is that for?

Do you still have this headset? Did it ever break? Also how is the sound quality and would you recommend any other headset over this one for sound quality in the $200 price range?

@TheSkullBreakers To be fair after about 4 months of use these headphones did indeed die on me. The one criticism that I have regarding this headset is that the drive support for it isn't all that great - apart from that it is an all round great headset.
