  • MrQuadruplebypass,Rejoice that God was and is with you. There was a presance in my recovery room. You can see it between the equipment and the wall.I don't know how that was possiable,as the equipment was against the wall and plugged in!But with God all things are possiable.

  • I just found this video today. My sister is 59 and she is due for a quad. heart bypass on Feb. 5th/10.

She knows God will be with her too. Thank you for posting this slideshow....you have a great attitude and most important FAITH!

  • I will lift her in prayer. She will be ok.

  • I had an open heart surgery but because I was born with a heart murmer which means I was born with three holes in my heart...my last surgery was this past year on september 23 of 2010 and it took me a while to get better yea it hurt but I went throught it too three surgeries but still here all thanks to the lord and my mother for being there for me(:

  • glad you took it with humor, good luck =]

  • A year ago they found 6 blockages in my heart. Feb 16, 2009 I had quadruple bypass surgery. I knew that I was in God's hands, and if it was my time to go to him, that would happen. But somehow I knew I was to stay here for my wife. Your slideshow brought back SO many memories. If you want to see how I am doing, put Ozaukee Idol in the search here, and you can see me perform. I won the contest 6 months after surgery. (I am Alan Smith, black suit coat and fedora). AMAZING what the Lord can do!

  • @MrQuadrupleBypass It went very well....Thanks for the prayers!!! :)

  • You should come back and leave a comment to let us know how it all went with your grandma.

    We'd all love to know.

  • nice video. my grandpa just had his quad bypass yesterday and I was able to talk to him today, amazing

  • If I had any advise to give on someone going to have this done, is:

Research your local hospitals and find out which one has the best program for this type of cardiac care.

  • Don't worry, and tell her not to worry. They do these operations a lot and don't have hardly any problems. It's more scary to think about it all then it is for these doctors and nurses to actually do it.

After my operation, I only had a little pain when moving my upper body. But I'd start feeling very sick, dizzy, and faint if I started thinking about all that had happened to me. It's weird I guess, that it's really not as bad as we think it is in our minds.
