Brief video and photo montage of the University of Oklahoma Society of Native American Gentlemen's 2nd Annual Stickball Tournament, Norman, OK April 17-18, 2009. The style played is Choctaw Stickball and besides a recreational sport it was also called the "little brother of war" as it was used to settle disputes between groups. These 'wars' lasted from sunrise to sunset.

No Hate. Its all Love. maybe I'm still just a little sore about not winning lol. But Haskell and Tennessee were the best teams there. That weekend was hella fun. I don't think it will ever be the same, though I hope they have the tournament again someday, preferably sooner(s Suck) than later

It was pretty much a Choctaw game at the end. Haskell would have been lost without their Mississippi ringers

Best times of my life. Really enjoy playing and participating in a real traditional game that our ancestors played. Gives me a sense of connection when I play this game and it's good to see how strong this tradition continues today. My team won back to back and really hope to play again someday. Cer Scott
