11/7/10: Alex plays in Bach Festival winner concert, Meydenbauer Center, Bellevue, WA. Alex was the first place winner in the Junior A (10 yr under) WTC Book 2 group. He also received "Special Distinction Award" (5 out of ~140 contestants)

This is incredible... Out of all the videos of this piece on youtube, this one is my favorite. The clarity and expressiveness of this performance is impeccable. I love it! I'm learning this piece right now, and I hope I can play it as well as him!

You play Bach this piece very well, Alex! Very clear, nice articulation. Also you manage to play nice dynamics, the voices are clear. In my opinion you got all that is important for Bach covered here. Love the legato playing you did so well in the Prelude. One word: BRAVO!
