Yeah thats good, but why would the body wear down, wouldnt it be possible to make it heal itself no matter what?

or have a reverse system your temporaily strile but if you chose to have children you lose the sterility via a gene treatment that also sacrifices your immortality that way you can have children whenever you want but the moment you do you start ageing normally again
