Great video.
Kids most certainly are acting up. However, children have not become so unruly within a vacuum. So much of why the youth are behaving without any regard to authority, rule, or decency is because the PARENTS have no regard for those and other positive qualities. The parents are FAILING their kids. As you pointed out in a previous video, kids learn to lie from their parents who constantly lie to them. In the same way, children learn disrespectful behaviors from their parents.

I am a living example that you must engage your children in everything they have going on around them. As a kid, I had clothes on my back, food on the table, and a roof over my head, but as far as interaction about life in general, I did not get that provide to me very much at all. I want to be proactive in giving my three sons the tools they need to be respectable black men who will carry the torch of life w/ confidence. I will interact w/my kids about life with the hellivision! Good insight!

Oh yessss...we are missing the wisdom of the old, the respect of the young. Sadly keeping up with jones and single parent home does not allow for parents to be adults...children to be kids.
We give them those cells, tv and games to keep them busy while we do our Adult neglectful 9-5 or sex life. SMH!!!
WHAT ABOUT THE BABIES>.YA KNOW?!

great vid.I remember those days of the community raising the child & multiple scoldings from family members. I have also in many ways become angry at some of our youth for there blatant lack of respect for there elders. we need solutions I do understand that

A 13 year old teenager was shot and killed while on his way to the candy store---it was said that when he was shot, no one thought it was serious because, he was still smiling and talking about it, and then he went to the back of the store, and colapsed and died later at the hosiptal. The Chicago Sun Times had a photo of the young boy lying in his casket while his father looks on with tears in his eyes and the deceased younger brother crying and limping and had to be carried from the casket.
