The Hebrew version of the song "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan.
All rights reserved to Walt Disney, except the subtitles and translation :)
I took 3123maison's video and felt like subbing it.

* She etsli tets'u gvarim == Lit: That with me you'll come out as men
* Mi she lo banuy* li'krav ra'uy == Lit: Who's not built* for a proper, decent battle/fight

Random words:
Gever = גבר = a man
Gvarim = גברים = men
Otsma = עוצמה = power/strength/might
Otsmatam = עוצמתם = their strength/might (plur. masc.)
Esh = אש = fire
Mistoriyut = מסתוריות = mystery
Oyev = אויב = enemy
Sha'ar = שער = gate

  • why doesnt ח change to ך in מרתיח in the video? i thought it always did. also, in written hebrew, do the end letter changes still apply? (is there a cursive version of ף,ך,ם,ן,ץ?). and thx very much for your videos! disney is how im learning hebrew:)

  • @omyogaom There are words that end with ח and words that end with ך , these are different letters.

    ך is the final letter of כ .

    Yeah, there is a cursive version of all the end/final letters. :)

    I'm glad the videos help you, it's my pure pleasure. :)

  • Welcome back to the club! :)

  • @ChanahEmiliania תודה! :)

  • Is Anu the poetic form of anachnu? Good to see you translating again :)

  • @xDROPDEADGORGEOUS Anu is the same as Anachnu, it isn't more flowery (and if it's somehow considered to be so - it's only because it's not so very colloquial)

    Yes, finally I had that little window of time and will. I missed it :)
