@zoziosawakening I like the title track but I feel like it drags on a bit too long.

@zoziosawakening I just realized I forgot to take track order into consideration. I'll remember that when I do the next installment of this.

@zoziosawakening Dunno about running order, although the song Mellon Collie, Tonight, Tonight and Jellybelly makes a fine opening in my opinion. I might want to end with Thirty-Three, or Thirty-Three and then By Starlight. I think I'd keep 1979 down around the third quarter, just so there's a slightly more energetic song towards the end of the album, and possibly even do the same with Zero. One of the mellower tracks, move up to after Jellybelly.

For the record I don't think there's a bad song on Mellon Collie, and I'm happy with it as a double album, but paring it down to half the tracks, my personal inclusions would be the following: Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Tonight, Tonight. Jellybelly. Bullet With Butterfly Wings. Zero. Fuck You (An Ode to No One). Cupid de Locke. Porcelina of the Vast Oceans. Thirty-Three. 1979. Stumbeline. Beautiful. Lily (My One And Only). By Starlight.

I never thought about that before, a double album into a single...nothing comes time mind right away, but I'll think on it and let you know. Thanks for the thought-provoking and entertaining piece; as if I know anything about smashing pumpkins, but I'll completely agree with your choices...
this is awful
