hey i am making a very similar kit and mine is about the same size.

some things i would suggest to add to your kit is

- poncho, small fishing kit, insect head guard( also doubles as a small fishing net), utility blades with folder, rap trap( easy hunting) and my kit can just fit in some leather work gloves.

also whats you opinion on battery powered vs hand crank torches.

i have a powerfull and compact torch but i also have a less bright hand crank one, which should i pack?

Best thing about that kit is the case. The wind up light comes in 2nd. But it's just a basic survival kit. Nothing zombie specific about it.

A surgical mask and baby butt wipes? That's the extent of the kits decontamination items? You need Hatch frisk gloves, kevlar forearm and neck protectors, surgical scrub pads, methyl alcohol spray, at least an N95 mask, an "epi-pen", tourniquets, a suction pull, and various other items if you expect to survive. Namely, a firearm. Baton won't do shit!
