Blitzkrieg: Escape from the Village [Live]

Filmed at the 2006 Sweden Rock Festival, this is one of two live videos released by the NWOBHM legends Blitzkrieg on their 2007 album "Theatre of the Damned". The rest of the new album's bonus content consists of two newly performed and recorded versions of the 1980 'Krieg classics "Armageddon" and "Blitzkrieg".

This performance of the song previously released on Blitzkrieg's 2005 album "Sins and Greed" differs slightly from the studio version, but is faithful to the original.

The band's performance at Sweden Rock Festival was being considered for DVD release, as well as their performance at the 2004 Keep it True Festival in Germany.

The Prisoner rules. They've done a cool job of quoting from it and such, but any song about that series invites a comparison to Iron Maiden, and frankly no one comes off well when they're compared to Maiden.
