@BluTrollPro I agree with you that people here should lay off the cars that only get like 2 miles a gallon. But the price of gas doesn't just affect us at the pump. Gas prices affect the whole economy. Years ago when the price of gas shot up the cost of food and other products went up with it. While I, and others, may not have felt the burden, some that were low income, living from pay check to pay check, really suffered. The burden of high priced gas can be devastating to low income families.

what the hell is wrong with people from the US complaining about the price of fuel... here in UK we are now paying £1.40 per litre. There are 4.5 litres to a gallon. There are are 1.6 dollars to a pound... do the math.
1x gallon of fuel in UK = 1.4x4.5 = £6.3 x 1.6 = $10.08
Yes for 1 gallon of fuel over here it costs over 10 dollars. Over 70% of this cost here goes to tax. Yes this is bullshit but the simple fact is IF YOU DONT WANT TO SPEND ON FUEL BY A SMALLER CAR!

@NoobSoldier2006 Illl try my bike beside while we lease a place next to work we used to ride our bikes to work all the time in good weather so we can save up and buy a new car, and it work out great riding a bike.

Well, if we don't increase gas tax, people would buy gas like candy and drives like there's no tomorrow. If our country imported 1 week worth of oil supply and our population used that supply in 1 day? What would happen for the remaining 6 days? Everything in our country will stop. That's why government "regulate" gas so that we conserve it and use only what we required.
