Burning Ice 2011 - WOW Speakers @Changing Tents

During the 4th edition of Burning Ice a small hexa yurt village grows in front of the Kaaitheater, Brussels. Munich based artist Christiane Huber curates the performance tent with daily WOW! Talks and much more. Part of her concept is, to let the speakers share moments of inspiration in non-verbal interviews. The footage we shot, screens in a loop behind the speakers and grows as we go.
For me as her cinematographer it is very interesting, to find the right space for each individual on screen - in a seemingly similar setup. I work with focal length, aperture, polarizer and point of view as well as with the obvious: framing.
