On my Teardrop trip to Elk Island National Park in Alberta Canada I was lucky enough to catch this Red Necked Grebe climbing unto her nest of eggs.

  • Actually this was taken in Elk Island Park near Edmonton Alberta. They have a path alongside the lake and the grebe built her nest close to shore. I had to sit there for an hour before she came in but it was well worth the wait. Also my telephoto lens was a great help. You will enjoy your visit to Alberta. Some day choose British Columbia the neighboring Province. It is a delightful place. Especially near Kelowna which is known as the Okanagan Valley.
