Eternally optimistic, Byron Reese challenges us to consider the excuses we conjure to explain why others are achieving what we aren't.

An accomplished high-tech trailblazer, inventor, entrepreneur, philanthropist, father and author, he shares his childhood dreams and leaves us with an infectious sense of possibility as we wonder why we ever chose to give our own up?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Such a great message that "greatness" is not a destiny afforded to a small elite group. Greatness is a decision available to anyone.

    What a great video! Thanks.

Everyone has greatness but only some will be able to show this in the society they are in, Eg. if you r an inventer with the solution to the energy crisis but have no money to build the prototype and also have no intent to make money out of the idea you wont get far in todays scociety due to the fact everything to day need's to earn money.
