In a tournament dominated by 19-year olds, Nino Niederreiter (age 17) becomes the breakout star of the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championships with his dominating play against the Russian team. Nino is projected to be one of the top picks in the 2010 National Hockey League draft and is one of five Portland Winterhawks rated in the top 100 draft list. Nino-mania is sweeping the world!

  • he was the best hockey player

  • Niederreiter is not the next Crosby, but that's fine by me. This kid is going to be a star, plain and simple. Tavares and Nino are going to be two of the games elite offensive players for years with the Islanders.

  • @simongagne33 and Matt M!!!

  • @Metrostar57 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA wow! I haven't laughed that much since the last time somebody said Ovechkin was better than Crosby! Thanks, I needed that!

  • wow him and johnny T ? my god

  • hes garbage. GTFO of the 2011 tourny today

  • 17 years old? tell me you're kidding.

  • Niño is the next Crosby in 2-3 years.

  • Hopefully he's better draft than Dangle. Go El Nino!

  • Go Nino! Go Islander!
