@rumpelr @LOLRabbleRouser Having read all the books that are out I would say it's not quite high fantasy but it's pretty much there. There are lots of monsters the farther you read and even more magic.

Is this a high fantasy series (monsters & magic)?

@LOLRabbleRouser I would probably go with low fantasy, but it seems to be changing in the course of time. It is set in medieval world similliard to ours with some fantasy elements, but it mostly concetrates on the charater. As the show will progress, more and more fantasy elemenst willl apear - as well as monsters & magic. But it is mostly character driven story. You will not see fireballs, mighty wizardas or hordes of orcs.

@MyDeadlyShadow The plot cannot be explained that simply. But - it all revolves around house Stark and the struggle for power in Seven Kingdoms. You will see betrayal, intrigues and so on. That is the gist. But it is no so simple. There is too many characters and too many different plots.
