  • @bongky18 Actually... Robert Miles - Children ( 1995 )

  • Wp7 graphics

  • guys, i have a hard choice, get lumia 800 which would be about $450 (australian) and not be able to afford to get sunburn or get omnia 7 and be able to get sunburn as well???

Lumia has better specs and doesn't lag even with really high graphics where as omnia 7 would lag a little? so hard lol..

  • lg optimus 7, yes?

  • @bobthecbuilder It's Children by Robert Miles...

  • @bobthecbuilder I was wondering would this type of engine be useful to anyone working in XNA because i'm also working on soft body physics and a smaller brother to DMM so you can destroy stuff realistically.

  • @bobthecbuilder Me an my friend are working on a game engine and I'm working on the physics part now. I was not to happy with JigLibX so I modified so it can calculate weights and materials it can also do some water physics by rendering them as small ball models that have poly's of 50-100 while maintaining perfect shape so you can 1000's of them on screen I also made sure that they cut off part of the and replace it with an effect if in contact with the same type of entity.

  • @hassanselim0 effects like bloom, post processing, and volume lighting are all done in real-time on the GPU.

  • @bobthecbuilder I still don't quite get it.

These (non-Basic) Effects like the Bloom Effect, do you make them on the CPU or are they pre-calculated and rendered as part of the Texture ?

  • @hassanselim0 we've been developing engine tech for a long time (even before shaders were available), so we just recycled some of our early fixed-function techniques for use on the phone. ;)

  • @weaponxlar the lighting and shadows use light maps, these are generated in the editor while building the level. It's gpu accelerated, so they generate very fast.

The effects like bloom, volume lighting and all visuals are all rendered in realtime.

  • @bobthecbuilder But... and the shadows??? How can SunBurn calc it real time if HLSL is not supported??

Anyway, it looks amazing!! We're going to use it on our next game!

  • How were you able to do this without Custom Effects ?!! :O

  • @weaponxlar it's all real-time using SunBurn Game Engine's built-in effects and rendering - awesome stuff. :)

  • AMAZING!!!

Are you using some kind of pre-render on pc??? cause WPhone doesn't support custom HLSL....

  • Wow, this engine looks incredible for a mobile phone, cant wait to see some games using it!
