  • Not a good interpretation really... this work needs more power and deep comprehension before playing it... there's a lot of South-American rythms that were not emphasized here... missing hits to the side of the guitar... a non-existing accelerando at the end... I hope to listen Marcin playing other composers works to appreciate his well know talent and prestige.

  • This is one work that is subject to a lot of interpretation, any of which would take most people time to appreciate. I do not believe that anyone has done the definitive performance, especially in a competition. Marcin's is fine! I disagree about any lack of power or deep concentration on his part. Still you make some interesting points. Have your heard all the stuff Regino Sainz de la Maza left out of the premiere recording of the Aranjuez? Early on, yes, but more accessible & guitar friendly.

  • @soullessSiIence Well Marcin is a very experienced player and a fantastic guitarist and he does a good job here... but Gorbach's is insane though, definitely the best out there.

  • este tio esta loco !!!!!

  • @LutenistDeMari Yeah I agree. It's in the 20th century that music, even on the guitar, started becoming "virtuosic" and not pertaning to any sort of classical organization. Sensitive ears have no say on music unless they can appreciate the effort of composers and performers! DX

  • Listen to Vladimir Gorbach's version of this and you will agree that Dylla needed a lot more of experience before playnig this piece at a master's level.

  • I cannot believe a piece like this is considered 'hard to listen to' ... I wonder what such listeners would think of Boulez' piano sonatas? guitarists and guitar audiences are remarkably conservative as a group. In my experience many guitarists find music after 1950 'too crazy'. Ironic when you recall that the guitar family itself is supposed to be the instrument of modern times.

  • instead of all this hoity toity g.f.a. stuff you should listen to a little Eric Loy every now and then.

  • he looks like luke skywalker on drugs

  • @ceili

  • esta mamada quien la toca ?? (aparte de es piromaniaco?
