dos puntos:
1.- la tensión va en las articulaciones y no en el cuello,
2.- los pasos deberían ser mas cortos.
La postura sentado no debería perderse,
es como si estuviera recién aprendiendo los principios básicos del entrenamiento.

when is such exercise used during acting? as in what kind of scene?

It is not used during acting. Actor's creative work and training should be considered as two separate forms of work. Forms of training don't help you to become creative. On the other hand training can - when done for many years - form tools to harness and mould your onstage energy and physical presence.

Yes indeed. But it is done with total rigour. Every part of the body is in full tension. There is only one part of the body - either the forehead, the chest or the ankles - that pull the rest of the body forwards or to any other direction that the actor prefers.
