I Love your Bird, git r done. So sincere when she says gotta go to work. lol. I have been trying to get my African grey to say Mommy and other stuff but he picks up other things instead. I play birds from youtube for my birds when I'm away or out of the room. Thanks

In response about the wings: Harley, my Congo African Grey isn't depressed & his wings are clipped. He's happy, chattering, screaming, whistling all the time & acts like a monkey lol. I guess it depends on how much room you have for the bird to fly. The vet said they should be clipped to keep them from hurting themselves. When My parakeets wings grow they start flying around the room and getting all excited and then fly into stuff so we keep their wings clipped.

aw lol she wants to be like RIGHT up on you! lol love :]

You dont need to CLIP the wings, Just a little trim to slow em up a bit. But i agree birds need to fly.
-
You should never clip their wings just because you fear they might get lost. Do you cut off you dogs legs to be sure it stays?
Birds need to be able to fly or they become very depressed.

Congrats to another owner who 'knows' what their bird is thinking, and how and what theyre gonna do next. Im like that with mine, you do after a while of sharing life and happy times with them. But I have a friend who insists its impossible for me to know what my littlen is thinkin' and I KNOW for sure what he is thinking ... its in his eyes! You just know..dont you?!! Well Done U! (*_*)

her wings should be clipped, you are going to lose her and join the group ex owners here on you tube now sorry they didnt clip their birds wings. ie sylvia, tui, etc

Lucky is great! I love that she "has to go to work." What exactly does she do for a living? ;-)

"i gotta go bye bye. i gotta go to work"
Wow! Lucky knows a lot of words. How did you get him to learn all those words?

Well, I guess time and patiance, I treat her like a child, meaning I explain things to her what I am doing, or she will ask whats wrong or what is it? Stuff like that. Sometimes she won't talk on command either, that is completely normal with greys; they talk when THEY want to talk :)
