Tens of thousands of gallons of volatile liquids burn causing a bleve. I never thought this video would be popular on youtube. Sorry for the low quality but I made this from a tape back in the mid 1990s, just playing around, way before youtube was around.

i was the 1st car coming from the north,(footage from the south) got so hot that my a/c was ineffective. backed up about 500 ft. turned right, hit the gas and got away. but, i don't know if you can see it, but a tanker exploded and went over my head and landed in a stubble field about 100 yards away. at first i thought it was a 55 gallon drum. f'n awesome sight!

Shame that they desynched the audio. It's so much cooler when you see the explosion BEFORE the shockwave hits you, like it really happens. See the PEPCON explosion for that effect.
