A Jewish Convert from Christianity: Three essential reasons why a passionate devout Christian chose to become a Jew, independent from the issue of messianic prophecies.
------------------

My choice to join the people of Israel was not an issue of salvation or eternal life. The Torah (Law of Moses) is only fully applicable to the people of Israel and those who voluntarily join them. All other peoples of the world are obligated in what are known as the Laws of Noah.

REMEMBER: The most paramount command among the Laws of Noah is the command against idolatry.

No factors of creation (time/spatiality/change, parts, etc...) apply to the Creator. He is an Incomparable Singularity, to Whose Oneness no form or concept of division can apply. His glory, prayer, and praise from the heart are due to Him ALONE.

For more information on this topic, please view the related clips I've uploaded.

I converted to Judaism. Christian convert to Judaism.

  • I see why you turned back, but it is still a turning back away from Universal brotherhood to an outmoded, bigoted, tribal religion. God doesn't love only Jews. Look closely at the Hofi Komen, the passover lamb, Isaac...Christ's sacrifice was needed because his example was needed. Knowledge of the gospels shows this example and allows the intellect to accept the Holy Spirit of God. Without that spirit, Jews will use their limited intellects to justify their bigotry and make Jusaism it'sownend

  • @keats27 I never said G-d only loves Jews. Mainstream Jewish belief regards such an idea disgusting. Bigotry is hating people for things that they don't even think.

  • Thanks for that answer, I do get men who block me from their channel when I explain things to them.Something God has given me to tell the people about when they have questions like this. You got to look at the whole picture of what God was planning for our lives. And then what time was He speaking to whom was he speaking, and the dispensation of time. Just a few things that you could think about. But it's not becoming a Jew that will give you eternal life. It's excepting the man who gave his.

I do not think and never thought that becoming a Jew grants one eternal life. Only an individual who is ignorant of the Jewish understanding of Torah can think that this is what Torah teaches.

I was lead out of Christianity unintentionally as a result of studying in preparation to be a pastor. I know the Christian message. Thanks 4 your concern, but the Christian message isn't based on the Torah.

  • peace, i was wondering if you could give me a site with a Jewish commentary on the Hebrew bible. Every site i find only has Christian commentaries and i would like to learn from the people of the book. if you know a way that we can talk privately about religion please let me know. thank you good brother and peace be upon you

  • @sadiq1982

I'm only aware of some sites with great commentaries to the Hebrew Bible... in the Hebrew language. ...If I find a website in English like this I'll try to remember to get back to you. In the meantime, I recommend trying to get your hands on the "Stone Chumash" which you can order online, and for Tanakh visit: artscroll (dot) com (backslash) Categories (backslash) tan (dot) html

  • I've gone through a similar process that you have, only after the rabbi denied me conversion (which they're supposed to do three times, I've heard), I decided that I should become Noahide. Good to know I'm not alone in the world ^_^ !ברוך יי

  • Would G-d dwell on earth? Question mark...

  • Messianic Jews believe that Paul preached against "religious observance of torah" not the torah itself...

  • His name is NOT Jesus/Hail Zeus. His name was and is Yeshuah/Yashuah as pronounced in English. He gave us his name and the Romans replaced it with their Pagan gods name.

So in your foolishness you have jumped from the frying pan into the fire. You have no love for the truth, because if you did, you would have FULLY investigated the truth and you failed to do so. I wonder how you will explain How they turn to him who they pierced when Israel finds out they have no ability to fight whats to come.

  • There are no conflicts in GODS mind, there are conflicts created by men who have evil intentions. With 3 different Masoretic Texts of course we have confusion. If you went as far as reading the Tankh, then why didn't you get a Hebrew to English or Aramaic to English New Testament and leave out the Romans bastardization of the common bibles which include the King James? I have both and I eliminated as much of the Roman influence as possible.

Your constant calling him jesus shows you failed......

  • Well I have born as a Jew and, as part of become Jew, you had learned Hebrew- because I would like to continue this comment in Hebrew-although my English is good for an average Israeli in my age, I still prefer to write in Hebrew. Are you religious and שומר שבת (shomer Shabbat)? (I'm not the two of them...) my bar-mitzva is close-when you converted, what step you have learned how to put tefillin?

  • When you converted did you do it through the yeminite minhag?

  • Mal 3:6 All-transcendent is interesting way of translate the text. Is it your opinion that G-d is speaking there about not changing his nature? (same for Hosea 11:9).

Looking forward to your responce :)

  • If somebody refused to obey Leviticus 16:29 would be his sin atoned for? My opinion is no. similarly with Christ.

I found interesting that all "forever" verses you quoted are in temple sacriface context and in their primary meaning cannot be aplied today.

    I could't find Deut 29:29 (maybe I just catch a wrong reference).

2Chr 6:18 means that earth is too small for God to dwell there and yet I would assert that in Eden G-d dwelt with Adam. I would be interested in your perspective on that.

  • @omedyashar

It is Understandable for what you have chosen
