just test it out and find out what mix is good for you, portraits are more like 10 drops water to one drop black for b&w portraits most of my colors i have 3 of each 200% 2 drops water 1 drop paint 300% 3 drops water 1 drop paint and 500% 5 drops water 1 drop paint, with this you can get almost every shade and shadow and not to mention the tip dry is nearly gone once you do this. test it out on paper or scraps and see what works for you. Any questions holler at me bro I'm here

got some tips for you man. Make a freehand tool just google it and print it out and cut it out of somthing stiff, it will help alot with the over spray. Thin down your paint i noticed that you were cleaning the tip after almost ever line with the black so try 3 drops water to one drop paint in a seperate bottle. and for the colors your going to want to go really watery for color build up 5 drops water to 1 drop paint. shades and shadows become so much easyer. check my videos you'll see XD
