@majibsters - 1) when GE went from 5000 workers to a 1000 in the late 80's early 90's the government didn't step in to help Peterborough. Consider yourself fortunate that Gm/Oshawa was helped out. 2) farm work is honest work!

it would be an interesting game of pond hockey but for sure id be cheering for the Petes ...love my home town ...

by reading all these comments ,you all must be gens fans ,ya know what im gonna b classy here and put it the best way i can ,the petes do not suck ,they have more ohl titles then u and have had more players drafted into the nhl and become superstars then the gens or anyone for that matter ,go petes go!
