Les at Eric Bogle's Waltzing Matilda No More concert in Watford on June 27th 2009.
A beautiful song beautifully sung.
The words have poignancy as Johnny Collins was at the same concert and sadly left us on 6th July.
Rest in peace Johnny, you'll be singing with the Angels in Fiddlers Green now.
Song was written by Les Sullivan and owes its origins to a ring bearing the legend 'No tengo mas que dar te', found on the wreck of the Girona, a ship of the Armada fleet sunk off the coast of Ireland

The death of Johnny was a huge blow we say goodbye to him tomorrow at the funeral this vidieo is in fact me Les Sullivan singing one of my own songs maybe you have some of johnny he was the opening act

My most humble apologies to both yourself and those who have been directly affected by the death of Johnny. This was my first introduction to both Johnny and yourself and I am afraid I was confused over who was who.

Yes it is a shame you couldn't have captured more of him but then you didn't know what would take place a week after his Watford concert. Very sad.
