You look beautiful. We're so thankful to be here with you tonight. Thank you for having us here with you. Thanks for coming. You know, I don't know if any of you guys have ever heard that song before we just played. How many people have heard that song before? Yeah, it's sometimes even though we love Jesus and even though we're following after him and we're going to church and we're reading our bible and we're trying to do things the right way sometimes life just gets really empty anyways. We just feel like God's quiet or silent and it's not the same anymore and sometimes we get depressed. And you know what? Our..our world we live in is sad sometimes and don't feel like your not close to God sometimes because you feel like you can't hear him. Sometimes he trust us with silence so we'll go after him anyways and that's honor sometimes. and I don't want..you know, God..Jesus was a man of Sorrows and sometimes those worlds causes us to have that sorrow in us. But the word is so clear that if you belive the Bible and I..and even if you don't it's just true that when you hope is in Christ though sorrow last through the night joy will come in the morning! Joy, the joy of Jesus is everlasting. I love this song, we sing this song because it screams in the face of the Devil that Jesus is my joy no matter what I feel like. Jesus is my joy! Jesus is my joy! You are my joy! You are my joy! You are my joy! And..and..and..one time when I was really sad and down and nothing could pull me out..Jared our guitar player..he was sitting infront of me and he was listening to his iPod and he said, "here Lacey are you okay?" I was like, "I just feel sad all the time and I don't even know why" and he said, "here listen to this, I..I listen to this when I'm sad" and it was David Crowder the song You Are My Joy. It was so amazing because he's screaming in the face of the devil that God is his joy no matter what we feel like. And it's so amazing to just say the truth whenever the devil lies just to say it cause the devil just lies to us about all kinds of things. You know, the bible says to think on everything that is good, and pure, and lovely and true and the devils just flips that around backwards and he says think on everything that is sad, and hateful, and horrible in your life and immediately you sink down and you can't get out of it. But he's just lying to you because just as many times things as there are hateful in the world there so many things that are glorious and good you just have to look at Jesus. Even that's all that it is is that Jesus died for our sins and we are saved. Even that's all that there is that's enough to be joyful for and if you don't know that..if you don't know Jesus..then I'm just telling you what I've learned cause I use to not believe in God I use to not believe in Jesus. Everytime I show somebody who believed in Jesus I felt judged, I was scared to..to talk..about who I really was around them. So I was..I was hateful to them, I hated them and I don't know if anybody came here just because their friend invited them and they don't..and they don't really know Christ. But I want you to know God is here tonight and the one..the #1 person on everyone's Myspace is that people want to meet is God. and it is so amazing that..that the bible says that more then one gathered in his name, He's there. and..and..that's amazing. if you need to talk to God tonight he's here you can talk to him tonight! and number one thing the bible says which is amazing I just..it sweeps me off my feet everytime is that God loves to speak with you. He wants to talk to you about everything going on in your life he wants to talk to you about those things we just can't be quite enough to listen. We're so busy complaing and feeling sorry for ourselves we can't just sit still and hear his voice and tonight we just..with this song we just want to say his truth over and over and over again "you are my joy, you are my joy" and that's what this song is about.
