I went back the next day and shot this footage of the aftermath of the explosion I have posted on my channel. I'll make this video a response to that one so you can see the explosion. I also did a walkthrough on video of my experience that night.

  • is this going to be on nbc this summer???? i remember kcbd saying somthing about that

  • @TheRmb123 It aired on MSNBC in June on a show called "Caught on Camera". I'm not sure if it will rerun or not.

  • Excellent footage and sound on these videos. May i ask what equipment you used?

  • All of the stuff related to the explosion was shot on a Sony VX2100/internal mic with wind muffler.

  • Thanks. I was really impressed with the quality of the sound it was very surround like

  • I too have been impressed with the quality of the built in mic on that camera. It is a stereo mic. Usually you don't get that good with built in mics. You should hear it in the raw digital file on my 5.1 surround system on my computer cranked up. Just like being there!

  • @aserta

    ...through.

  • Who dared to bite the piece of sat-dish at 2:00 ? :)

Also to my understanding the piece that hit you van was from second tnak that ruptured. In slow motion version you can see that as the top opens up it rolls right into direction of you catapulting some pipes, which too can be seen in a few frames. Also time difference is pretty good for that distance.

  • oh,,,wow....man..ure lucky...lucky like hell..imagine that coulda went ...uh

  • ZOOM IN!!!!!

  • I live in lubbock and i think i remember seeing the smoke

  • looks like they need to give me a call at Lide Industries for some more Tanks
