When a child with Autism disappears their life is in danger and an adult looking for them may begin their search in the wrong direction; while a 4 Paws Autism Assistance Dog trained in search and rescue never takes the wrong path and quickly leads the adult to the missing child.

i believe a trailing dog is much better at finding missing persons then a tracking dog as a trailing dog will take the shortest route and cut corners. I also it follow's scent and not a track.

What's going to happen if the dog passes away? By the time they receive the dog it's already mature, 3 to 4 years maybe. And it'll die in 6 to 8 years. Then what?
The death of a best friend affects an autistic child is absolutely devastating. It actually terrifies me a little.
