Klaus Kinski interviewed by Thomas Gottschalk, a very stupid german showmaster. the show was called "Na Sowas" and was very popular in germany at that time. Kinski made PR for the movie "Commando Leopard". he's friendly, but not really helpful...

@diddymuck:Gottschalk did exactly the opposite of goading him into having a tantrum, he tamed him. The questions are not that "silly", Kinski even seems to be flattered somehow.He can´t get along with compliments+so he´s reveiling the"brutal fact": "I´m only in it for the money."

For heaven´s sake, i wouldn´t"have thought"that actors mainly want to make money,what a"surprising"revelation.

Kinski is the predecessor of today´s nerds+trolls who always think "only the others" are uncool !

@JenniferHill87:In dem Interview geht es aus Kinskis Sicht vermutlich+hauptsächlich darum, dass ihn zuviele Raucher nervten, da er entweder das Rauchen aufhören wollte oder seine Majestät hatte gerade keine Lust drauf oder wer weiß was. WO ihn die Raucher nervten ist bei seinem Durcheinander am Anfang auch nicht klar, erst später sagt er dann eindeutig, dass es im Hotel in Hamburg war + nicht in der TV-Garderobe. Gottschalk macht das psychologisch sehr klug, er "zähmt" eine Diva.

@MLISlC:Kinski complains about too many smokers - in the green room of the TV production or in the hotel before? As far as i know he also smoked pretty much.But"of course"when Herr Kinski has no lust for cigarettes (or did he want to quit smoking?) all the others have to stop smoking, too! Gottschalk knew exactly that the only remedy to prevent Kinski´s endless monologues right at the start was by taming the tiger with absurd talking,i agree that Kinski looks pretty high+a bit ill, too.
