In my home town of Joplin, Missouri many lives will never be the same. Great people, great parents, great children....all lost. May 22nd will always be remembered as the day we stared death in the face. With over 120 deaths (still climbing) this tornado was the 8th deadliest in recorded history. Over 2,000 homes and businesses are now reduced to rubble.

Never take life for granted...I did until this happened in my own city. I got lucky, but others weren't so fortunate. God Bless, and may the victims rest in peace. You're never forgotten.

Pass this on and share it with everyone. People need to know that life isn't guaranteed. Love everyone and hate no one.

  • The song is beautiful, haunting, and melancholy. The images are eerie and heartbreaking. A moving tribute. This should be featured nationally.

  • Very powerful. I have lived in Joplin my entire life and I plan to keep raising my children here. My daughter and i were rolled in our car for 5 blocks. We had a guardian angel looking over us. My heart goes out to the victims of this devastation. Down but not out!

  • Hard to view without getting emotional. the intense devastation is overwhelming to see. I continue praying for all.

  • Very touching. Joplin will always be in the minds of many.

Glad you were okay! My thoughts and prayers are with you and the families of Joplin!

    God bless-3
