Are you suggesting that all brown people are the same? As i said missionaries tried to civilise early maori natives because they were primitive eg. cannibals . Are you suggesting that all white people are the same? Or that white is a race? Because last i checked, white isnt even a colour. You obviously need to differentiate between colonials, settlers and missionaries for a start. The early missionaries tried to do one thing & that was to inject the teaching of the gospels into Maori culture, which they did, and for no negative outcome, so i dont have a problem with that, except for the obvious polytheistic issue, but thats irrelevant.
