President Barack Hussein Obama visited wealthy Fairfield County, Connecticut on Thursday evening, September 16, 2010. Obama's trip was two-fold.

His first stop at the midtown Stamford Marriott Hotel was an attempt to attract campaign cash for Democrat CT Attorney General, Richard Blumenthal, a Connecticut career politician. From the looks of the Marriott ballroom the crowd was nowhere near the number attending a similar fundraising event for Senator Chris Dodd eleven months earlier at the nearby Stamford Hilton Hotel.

It was about two months after Obama's 2009 visit to the state that Dodd decided not to seek reelection, in fact being dumped from the 2010 Democratic ticket.

The message from the tea baggers seems to be: Throw out everyone in Washington and replace them with new people... doesn't matter who they are, where they come from, or what they stand for. That's the big master plan? What then? At the next election, if tea baggers again don't like what's going on, do they vote them out again?

That doesn't tell anyone what they stand for, what the policies should be, or what they want. It just means a revolving door. I don't get it.

@PALINSMITH I've been listening and been watching but I see no coordinated message, no specifics, no agenda, and no policy position. It's almost like a conspiracy theory... lots of rhetoric but nothing to grasp on to. Looking forward to the November elections to see if my mind can be changed.
