I have heard that horn

@jao216 I'll never understand why people buy or build a home near a railroad, freeway, airport, etc. and then complain about the noise.
-
@thomabb Those would be TripleCrown roadrailers.

Anyone ever see a trailer train where the rail trucks are connected directly to the trailers? No flat bed railcars! I saw a NS eastbound by Alexandria PA last weekend like this. Each truck was connected to the end of one trailer and the nose of the next. I never saw that before. I wish I had my camera with me.

Woop. That railroad leads to the hood.

well sometimes i like seeing them. i especially like the grafitti on them. but the main problem is getting stuck by them. especially in the iron triangle. ive never been through there without getting stuck by a train. then just this morning, the only reason im up right now is because of a train

I'd have to agree with you there. :)

The unit that had the RS3K now has a K5LA. Oh, well!

I would've thought people could get used to it. I live near a military base and the planes fly over all the time. We get used to those. Although with Fostoria getting 100+ trains daily, I guess hearing that many horns can get sort of old for non-railfans. For me, though, I would LOVE it if I lived there!

One of the clearest-sounding P5 horns I've ever heard. It sounds amazing! It really is unique with the descending order of notes sounding.
