A Deliberative Meeting Place

Second Life can provide a meeting place for people across the USA and around the world who are civic engagement practitioners. In our recent AmericaSpeaks session in SL, a collaborative effort from 5 different deliberative practices created a civil and productive conversation. This kind of collaboration...and the learning that results from it...can benefit all civic engagement organizations.

I would have liked to hear you speak the names of the specific groups that met to collaboratively produce the event, too, because I agree that was a unique aspect of our AmericaSpeaks in Second Life.
