let's say for argument's sake that this nutjub is correct, and jewish people do run all the banks. so what? what does that mean? when i deposit money in my bank account and go to withdraw some a few days later, the money is still there. imagine if some nut like John Hagee ran the banks?

dude you are so full of it. HAGEE IS A "JEW" LOVER. The JEWS DO RUN BANKS. Duh just look it up. They also run porn and other crap. Sure there are many good, devout jews but there are also those who say they are jews and are not and are of the....SOS. Plus in their own texts they say they are the edomites and that they are not Israelites. Hiter was a Rothschild and Karl Marx was the son of a jewish rabbi! Sheesh get your facts straight. It is awful that lots of these people happen to be jews.

IT's not my own perspective. it's from scripture. II corinthians 10:4-5 states "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" This means our spiritual knowledge and strength must come from the Lord. Any other secret knowledge is the same as witch craft.

You can make any one bit of scripture central to your perspective. The reason that Christianity is so wildly diverse as a religious tradition is that there are so many possible valid interpretations of scripture. Further, which Bible are you talking about ? - there are many, which include different scripture. And, the choice of which scriptures to include in the Bible was, to begin with, a human decision, made by committee. Then, there's the work of Dr. Bart Ehrman...

Ehrman - who began as a Fundamentalist (old school definition of that, by the way) - has demonstrated that Biblical scripture changed substantially during the process in which Medieval scribes copied biblical text.

The practice was for scribes to make various notes, exegetical etc., in the margins, and often those notes were incorporated into scripture.

Basically, the work of Ehrman has demolished the basis for literalist interpretations of the Bible.

You know that you're voicing a recently invented system of religious doctrine, right ?

Well, I'd agree that rich tycoons and business owners exert considerable influence, but so do powerful religious figures. Billy Graham was Nixon's confidant, Al Gore was in Doug Coe's personal prayer circle... Money isn't everything.

I don't think American Democracy is functioning the way the founders intended, that's for sure.
