Victoria Police are holding a knife amnesty so that people may hand in knives and other dangerous weapon. I hit the streets to find out whether that would curb the street violence levels

This vox pop and larger story aired on 'The Inquiry' was to satirise Victoria Police's 'voluntary amnesty'. The concept relied on the fact people would simply hand over there weapons, i felt this to be ridiculous and as such did this piece which is equally as ridiculous. We are 'fucking around' in equal measure to what the police were doing about the issue at the time.

@poiuytrewq7654321 sorry man, just found it hard to see it as a joke. i got stabbed in 2008, it took the police 2 years to arrest one of the guys, and in that time he was in and out of prison for the same thing, so in essence, they cant protect us, and are now disarming us. the other guy got released after 6 months, and to give you an idea of the severity, my friend almost died, and i almost copped it on the heart, but i got it in the forearm because of my quick reaction.
