you sure the 02 Max have "FULL" bolt ons?? I have headers, 3" exhaust, CAI, UD pulley, BOP, spacers, etc...and no tune and dynoed at 260whp.......Even hung with a 2010 STI with intake, exhaust AND a tune....I dont think the Max had "FULL" bolt ons....Both Maximas are nice though. the 7th gen Maxima engine is REALLY nice though!

Wow is this accurate? Is there that much of a difference, and is the new heavier car really that much faster on a role?

I've never really liked Nissan but I love my 2012 premium sv Max WITH the CVT . It could use 30 horses but its fast compared to my 09 expedition. One thing the pattle shifters could move with steering wheel and if you press the controls to hard on steering wheel it's honks.. Oh well I just find that stuff but it wouldn't stop me from buying it cuz there is so many accessories that make up for it's crazy. I love the a/c seats and music box and much more

that;s the thing with CVT, it will jump into the right powerband. no need for good gearing. 6mt is better off the line however.
