  • what type of solution did you apply over the dry acrylic? can u explain? thanks!

  • @ReneVallejoArtStudio

If it is that light beige color (though it works with any color), it is Titan Buff acrylic pigment, thinned with water. Once applied, I sprayed the surface (while still wet) with mineral spirits sometimes called white spirits. Turpentine will work as well. The best turps for me is the odorless variety. Hope this is of some assistance.

  • i used the shadetex plates...and sprayed with 2 coats of mold release. let it dry overnight and then put the heavy coat of paint/gel medium mix overnight. the acrylic isn't coming off of the plate. please help? what do u think i did wrong? thanks

  • Not sure what the issue is. I have a hard time keeping the acrylic in the mold. I have been experimenting recently with silicon spray. Works quite well. The only reason I have been doing this is that the mold release I use and like I am having trouble finding. Keep experimenting until you find the right combination.

  • oops. maybe you can tell me what i did wrong, but I put the right ratio together and when I sprayed it (using the same kind of sprayer that you have) - it was pretty gloppy -- huge droplets and not a nice spray. They also didn't want to dry very well. What did I do wrong?

  • You may have to adjust the mixture a bit. IMHO, I might consider using a bit of distilled water. My mixture was a coarse spray. Another thought would be to use a touch of flow enhancer. Be sure it is well mixed, if not , it can really be a bit on the rough and messy side. (I like to be sure I have at least two glass beads in the bottle.)

  • @Odiseo091 Write the materials used

  • Hello! I am very happy with their work, could put the materials used, no English. Thank you very much.

  • I have two questions....

    1. What is an alternative to Tight and Buff, because I can't find any

    2. Also, How did you create those line on your canvas?

Thanks! You are so helpful! Keep making Videos! :D

  • My question's a little different to everyone elses. On the box canvas, how did you use the modelling paste gel? I'm new to all of this so I can be a little clueless ^-^ Did you just have the gel in a nosxxle ended bottle and draw in a straight line? or...?

thanks very much. I love your tutorials =]

  • what color did you put in the pump bottle, the coloring came out wonderfully!

  • Thanks so much for your videos. I have tried almost all that you have shown us and am loving it.
