When I heard that Portnoy had left Dream Theater I was shocked, as a longtime, diehard fan. But i read into the situation and figured that everything would be resolved and he'd be back in no time. Then I heard that DT had found a replacement for Portnoy and I was truly saddened. However, after having watched "The Spirit Carries On" and other Mangini-related videos... I feel much better. This guy blows me away! Both with his technical skill as well as his very cool personality.

I like the vibe in manginis videos..It is so peaceful..so different from portnoys videos where everybody is just offending and underrating mangini and blaming JP and Jordan as if portnoy was the big deal..he was...WAS....cause he became an ass who just screwed the band and just left it so he could make his Daddys drumming with the kids in the band for A7X ...The peace in here is so cool
