Why Bush ignored the evidence is the fact that both Osama, and the USA are controlled by the same principality of darkness in high places which is Satan and the fallen angels wanting to eat us like we eat food. @rightwingEagle Again read 'Against All Enemies' by Richard A. Clarke. And as for the troops? Nobody outside Clinton adminitration and CIA didn't know what Al Qaeda really was, so sending troops to Afghanistan would be seen as act of agression, and further more, there was a plan to do that, but CIA couldn't pinpoint where is Bin Laden, and generals were against it, they just said "Why send troops after one guy?"

@hejcoze ya your right with the wag the dog bull that just goes to show you damned if you do damned if you dont, i think if he had sent ground troops after al qaeda not just launching missles he would of looked a little more serious about going after al qaeda. clinton new about them before 1996. 1992 was the first attack against the usa then 1993 wtc bombing then they captured ramzi yousef in 1995 he was on the most wanted list in 1993 so they knew for pretty much his whole administration,

@rightwingEagle Clinton administration learned that Al Qaeda exists after Jamal Al-Fadl told them in 1996. After embassies Clinton bombed Afghanistan and Sudan. EVERYONE blamed that he was 'waging the dog' - scandal Monica was in full motion. Everyone was critisizing Clinton, that he wasn't dealing with 'issues'. After that he instructed Clarke and Tenet to form a way how to take down Al Qaeda. And left it to Bush to carry it out. Bush ignored that threat until 9/11.
