Craig Buhler, jazz saxophonist, is featured in this funky original blues. Included are Lee Thornburg, flugelhorn and trumpet; Dan Barrett, trombone; Brian Atkinson, vibes; Karen Hammack, piano; Jamie Findlay, guitar; Chris Conner, bass and Paul Kreibich, drums/percussion.

Craig Buhler wrote this piece to describe the impact that Microsoft had on the sleepy village of Redmond, Washington. When I first visited Redmond in 1980 it was a quaint berg surrounded by forest with an old brick railroad depot. And a boardwalk led to a fishing pier at the head of Sammamish. Then Microsoft moved to Redmond and ... bam, bam, bam, bam...Roll Over Redmond!

This song is one of 54 jazz etudes include in my book, "Keys to Music." Each was written for a specific student. You can buy a copy at http://craigbuhler.com. This song was written for a student in Redmond who loved Chuck Berry.

(Among the photos in this video are several from the Laguna Beach Band "Honk" famous for its soundtrack to "Five Summer Stories."
