Purity Rings: A New Trend?

This was recorded about a week ago, we were waiting to put it up mainly because this could be a touchy subject.

But we're going to post it anyways!

Eventhough we say it in the video, we want it clear that we aren't against anyone who does or doesn't wear purity rings for whatever reason. We are just stating what we have noticed.


PS: If you haven't noticed, lately Jordyn hasn't been wearing her ring, to avoid drama, and a buncha questions, here's the low down:

I had one, but it got all scuffy so I had to replace it with another one that was too big. I don't want to wear it to school because I don't want to loose it, so usually I will wear it at home, or at a friends, or out somewhere but school. Since we make our videos right after school, I usually hadn't made it home yet to get my ring.
So as soon as I get it resized, don't expect to see it off my finger. while I am not wearing it physically, I always wear it in spirit.


EDIT: We aren't saying that if you were in a way, forced to be unpure that you're bad for wearing a ring.
HOW WE MEAN, is people who are wearing them for the sake of saying, oh yeah, I'm cool, I have a purity ring. If it was your choice to loose virginity before marriage, then, is when we believe you shouldn't wear one. But if it wasn't your choice, then by spirit, you are still pure. Easy as that. Quit trying to start drama.

If you read the Bible, you'll find out that it IS God's idea, But just like every good thing that He intended to be, if not used properly (just like how one misuses an electric iron by using it to heat water and ends up destroying the supposedly for good use tool) ends up destroying us. :)

@mollythompsonftw How romantic? You'd love this renowned speaker named Jason Evert. Check out his website. I can personally garuntee it's safe and beautiful. He married a girl, who learned the value of purity.

@akhsweetness Actually they can't garuntee with the pill or any sort that you don't get pregnant 100%. They can garuntee that your child will be aborted before you realize you're pregnant though.

@powergirlttyu Yeah, but don't disgrace the beauty of pregnancy. It's really the thing that makes girls so epic and mysterious to guys. They cannot fathom how amazing it really is. My mom (sorry if you find offense at the term) says that being pregnant was her favorite thing in the whole world. Totally wait, but try Natural Family Planning instead of the pill. (If I totally just judged you wrong I am sorry... but most haven't heard of NFP. It's pretty epic if I do say so myself.)

@mikedsm12 I have one, because honestly when you think of settling down and starting a family, or at least getting married (though they're kind of a package deal), who are you gonna want to marry? The random girl that sleeps around or the pure virgin, a mystery to all? And who do you think she's gonna want to marry? I can tell you: a guy with high standards who meets her equally high standards. And after all, what guy doesn't want what he can't have?
