Mort & Phil - 13 - The statue of liberty case

When the ever-alert Mort overhears a plot to blow up the Statue of Liberty, Mr. L has no hesitation in despatching his two star agents to New York. Much to their annoyance, they are accompanied by Ophelia as Mr. L mysteriously believes she will provide cover for their investigation. Their stay in the Big Apple is not a happy one. Trying to ditch Ophelia proves even more difficult than tracking down the terrorists, especially with Mort and Phil's amazing capacity for misinterpreting every conversation they overhear. The last straw comes when a shortage of funds forces them to abandon their mission. But once back at home, the destruction of the Statue of Liberty turns out to have only minor repercussions.
