Hvac A dangerous vent!!

A customer had the gas company come out to check out her furnace they shut it down because it was not venting properly and this is what I found!!

I've been obsessessive over with Vent pipes since I'm a little I mean I've been watching my neighbor's vent pipes and mine steaming during on cold winter

did it have a vent switch that tripped the unit??

@vaynol81 No that is a natural draft furance before they started putting draft switches in.

@dizziedallas You're welcome. I've been fascinates with it very long time. I know when heater/funerace going warm air flows through the pipe and when it hits the cold air it makes the steam. What I saw a steaming coming out through the pipe (Rain cap)) so that made me believe steam went through the pipe because pipe gets hot and steam went through the pipe

@faridjahed Did you watch the video? the tech in the video said the customer's daughter put the stuff there to try to keep squirrels out.

the guy who did this was definitely not licensed technician.
