Back out at Jones Junction on a Friday evening to catch the action. Its always busy out here with coal trains coming around the "loop" and freights heading toward Laurel. A total of five trains were seen in a 4 hour stretch at Jones tonight.
Train #1: BNSF 1016 West, H-Train, 5:45 P.M. Power: BNSF C44-9W 1016, BNSF (ex-ATSF) C44-9W 649.

Train #2: BNSF 9288 East, Loaded Coal Train (Not Pictured), 6:05 P.M. Power: BNSF SD70ACe 9288, BNSF ES44AC 6060, BNSF SD70MAC 9968 (DPU)

Train #3: BNSF 9162 West, Empty Coal Train, 6:54 P.M. Power: BNSF SD70ACe 9162, BNSF SD70MAC 9969, BNSF SD70MAC 9897 (DPU)

Train #4: BNSF 1003 East, Welded Rail Train, 7:36 P.M. Power: BNSF C44-9W 1003, BNSF C44-9W 1099 Very nice engineer!

Train #5: BNSF 4701 West, H-Train, 8:34 P.M. Power: BNSF C44-9W 4701, BNSF C44-9W 4616
