if you've managed to get a halter on her but if you have try holding a short lead and begin jumping right in front of her she will feel uncomfortable at first but it will help in the end then slowly start to move around her while continuing to jump then she will feel better about quick movement. Then start to bring other things that might frighten her move them near her then away and each time get closer. and last if you have another horse thats calmer try putting them together in a pen.goodluck

hi my name is chelsea and i recently bought a 5 yearold standardbred mare.she was found in a field as she was left there by her past owner. She is verry skidish and i cant even walk her outside because she will tremble and duck down and go out of control. She had a major problem of rearing when i first got her and everyone claimed she was "CRAZY and NUTS" i didn't believe them and so i bought her.she is an amazing horse verry gental but just scared of so many things.
