Super Mario RPG - Culex Battle

Though Culex is not from a Final Fantasy game, he does resemble a character from one.

By far, the hardest boss (harder than even Smithy) fight in the game due to facing him and his four crystals, who are no pushover either. I basically spammed all my Rock Candies and Fire/Ice Bombs while getting Peach to heal. And used the Crystaline to boost Defense.

The reward for beating him is the Quartz Charm, which raises all of the holder's stats.

What the hell does shredder do? does it lower your defense or something?

It basically eliminates any stat boosts that you used.

@PetraFan6000 its the final fantasy prelude. which is the main final fantasy theme for all FF games. cmon its only one of the most recognizable themes in all of video games.
