Oh yes, and this is the first time we got together as a family since I met Chris, my beloved prince. We celebrate our 1sr anniversary in 2 weeks. His cooking was the a hit with the family, although his Habanero chocolate cordials did manange to make a few of my family members dash for a glass of milk, but hey...it made a lasting impression...lol! This is our FAMILY Chris...get used to it. ;)

Also of note at this special event, is my Daughter Chantille who, just that morning, became engaged to her boyfriend Rob. (Welcome to the asylum...errr...I mean ...family , Robbie!) It was the first time in 2 years that CJ was able to make it to a Turmelle function as well.

Ahh..the organized chaos that is the Turmelle family at a holiday get together. Though not visible to the uninitiated, this is actually a very special get together. Asides from the usual cast of characters, it was of special note that this was the first time in over 2 years that I had seen my son Shane, who just got home from his second tour of Iraq.
