  • this show that in malaysia we have freedom in religion..as a muslim..i dont believe that non muslim should be treat as second class citizen..actually chinese are the first claa citizen..in malaysia..all the businesses own by them..not the malays or the indians

  • Of course, idiot. We DO have a holiday for Thaipoosam. Again, do your researh before posting stupid questions. In Mauritius, 30% of hindus speak Tamil. There is even a Tamil league and a national Tamil society. In Malaysia, there are 3 ethnic groups - Malay (Muslim), chinese and Hindu(Tamil). In Mauritius, we have Hindus, Muslims, Africans, European and Chinese. Furthermore, Hindus are classified into Biharis, Tamils, Telegus, Marathis and Punjabis. Grow up!

  • Do you have a public holiday for Thaipoosam ? He have it . Our Thaipoosam is world recognized. You said that all the south indian origin mauritians speak TAMIL ? How many % ? We , Malaysian Tamil have strongly maintain our culture and heritage even in a muslim nation .

  • @MAZHAI22

Mauritians of south indian origin DO speak Tamil. Do your research before posting stupid comments. Anyone who participates in Cavadee in Mauritius is a Tamil speaker. But how is your argument relevant to the debate here ? And what is special about Malaysian Tamils ??

  • Please learn to speak TAMIL . Then you can compare yourself with the Malaysian Tamils .

  • Hello brother, What you know about Malaysia ? We even have TAMIL schools there and with more than 26 000 temples. Do you have it in Mauritius ? Even you guys don't know to speak TAMIL !!!! There are more than 3 million tamils living in Malaysia .

  • I am Mauritian and I have been to Batu Caves in Malaysia. What is so special about it ? It is a normal pilgrimage site. Like Batu caves, we have a similar temple atop a hill on Corps-de-Garde Mountain in Mauritius.

  • @mazhai22

the # of pple doesn't count,it's not a concert...it's all about the faith...don't ever try to compare Mauritian faith with anywhere else in the world...we know how strong our belief is...so pop a pill and give us a break...we are not competing with the world!!Keep your malaysia info to yourself or bore somebody else!

  • Merci pour cette vidéo. C'est super je reconnais beaucoup de gens. Aujourd'hui, 30 janvier 2010, c'est la fête de Thaipoosam cavadee à Cap-malheureux et dans d'autres régions de Maurice. Glory to Lord Muruga.
