"see the bird with a leaf in her mouth. After the flood, all the colors came out." yes this song does have connections to the Christian/Jewish faith as written by U2. In fact, I believe in a live version of the song at one point U2 did say "Lord" in the same part of the song where Sanctus Real used the word but since I cannot seem to locate that recording I cannot be positive.
